Being a senior at RMHS
Being a high school student is what everyone looks forward too. You get to meet new people, go to a new school, and you get a clean slate at everything. But the work is a lot harder than middle school. In high school, these grades actually count towards your future. People think that freshman year and sophomore year do not really count but they actually do. Being a senior at RMHS, I realized how much these years count. These grades are what your future is going to look like. I did not take my first 2 years very seriously and if I could go back I probably would. I know most people would not say that they would go back to high school or go back in time, but I would. Being a senior at a high school is more than just being a student. You are showing the other grades how to act. Everyone looks up to the big kids and want to be just like them one day. You have to set a good example and show that you actually care about your grades. You only get one chance to get good grades, so why blow it? Why waste 4 years on not trying your hardest? These 4 years fly by and you will always remember them. You do not want to remember your high school career as a bad one. You want to be able to say that you tried your best and you put in all the effort. Your success in high school will make you a successful person later in life. For me these past 4 years went by way to fast for me. I know that I tried my best in every class and I earned the grades that I deserved. I am very excited for my future because I know I will be successful in college and my life after school.
