Computer Applications

      In Reading Memorial High School we have a lot of different classes you can take. One class you can take as an elective is Computer Applications. This class shows you how to work and understand computers. This class is very helpful if you are a senior going to school for business or anything. This class is different than your every day classes like English, Math, or History. So far I have learned how to search things on Google better. I learned what different things on Google mean. For example, if you search for an image of a puppy you can chose what color puppy you want. You scroll down to the bottom of the page and click what kind of color you want. I also learned that word order matters when you do a Google search. Knowing all these new things that I learned about Google search helps me out a lot. Also I found out what different media you can use. You can use images, the web, videos, and you can even shop on Google. Most students would not think that knowing all this information about Google would not be important or helpful, but it actually is. I had no idea that these little things on Google even existed or mattered. Who knew that this class would be helpful!
